We also took the Historical Society’s walking tour. You can do it by car, but with the cool, low-humidity weather and stunning views, we preferred to stroll. Old hotels, restored homes, original storefronts felt like walking through a living postcard.

David ordered Ray’s Campbird Blonde to go with his Lone Star Burger, while I opted for a lemonade hard seltzer and the Cluck Norris. We chose to dine on the rooftop garden, where the views of Ouray made every bite even better. Worth the wait, without question.
