Memphis BBQ Co. didn’t disappoint. David declared the drive completely worth it for his slab of ribs with baked beans, cole slaw, and cornbread. I opted for the BBQ meatloaf—dry-rubbed, grilled, and glazed—served with red beans and rice and cole slaw. It was comfort food at its finest.

After the long drive and a satisfying meal, we decided to stay just one night. Tosh was with us, and the mild weather made it safe for her to relax comfortably in the car during dinner.
